I've dedicated my career to the service of the National Association of Black Journalists. As a veteran Broadcast Journalist, I have only been a member of Region III, having worked in a number of television markets in the region.
I have served as Deputy Region III Director, President of the Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists, Vice President-Broadcast for the Tampa chapter as well as the Birmingham chapter.
For the past decade, I have served as a lead instructor for the FAMU-NABJ Short Course and I want to continue the great work this region does with students. I will also continue to be a strong advocate for journalists and work to provide opportunities for continued education for journalists.
